Spybot is not controlling the browser ads and it is not updating properly

Hi

I have Spybot - Search & Destroy+AV 2.4 on Windows 8.1

When I try to do an update, it says:

An error occurred during antivirus updates!

[00:29.329] [i] Updating emalware.127...
[00:40.157] [i] Updating emalware.127...
[01:02.673] [i] Updating emalware.127...
[01:03.079] [-] Failed to download updated Spybot 2 antivirus signatures!

The problem that I am trying to fix is that my browser keeps creating ads in tabs when I click on a page.

aswMBR logs aren't analysed in this forum.Since you say you're having problems with browser ads,I'll direct you to the malware forum.
