Is this a new install of Spybot,or have you had it for a while? :)
Did the anti-malware updates download ok,or was there an error when trying to update those as well?
Oh,and what do you have for a firewall?Any chance you installed a new one recently,or anything like that?

Did the anti-malware updates download ok,or was there an error when trying to update those as well?
They updated fine.

SPYBOT = HOME PAID VERSION / AVAST! ANTIVIRUS = FREE APP
nothing new, here is my setup:
FIREWALL:
AVAST! ANTIVIRUS = OFF
WINDOWS FIREWALL = ON

ANTIVIRUS PROTECTION:
AVAST! ANTIVIRUS = ON
SPYBOT SEARCH N DESTROY = ON
WINDOWS DEFENDER = OFF

ANTISPYWARE PROTECTION
AVAST! ANTIVIRUS = ON
SPYBOT SEARCH N DESTROY = ON
WINDOWS DEFENDER = OFF

good ... something to ya. I just ran update, my time here is 053115 @ 1945 hrs, and it stilled failed, same way.
2 how can I tell if I'm using SPYBOT proxy, I don't want to as far as I know and I never selected it but nothing is IMPOSSIBLE !! Let me know...

well well, first i ran the file scan, this worked found 34 errors fixed them. I re-ran the update and now it works. Wtf , the end justifies the means, but i still like to know. But majic will do. Tks for ur help:crowned::devil::thanks::d:[quote
