Smitfraud/Vundo? Malware Causing mayhem!

Hi Guys, i am a bit of a newbie when it comes to fighting malware and have only lost the battle before, so this time i though i would ask some expert advice before running all those supposed fix tools only to see blue screens :-(.

I think i have smitfraud as i am getting popups asking me to buy Win Antiviruspro 2006 and i am experiencing slowdown and intermittent internet connection, i also seem to have a trojan or two, McAfee says Vundo but the bit defender online scan below has picked up a host of other nasties. I have included an HJT log and have run S&D in safe mode with the latest updates and only 2 lines keep coming up about Windows Firewall and Antivirus Notification problems which even though it says it fixes keeps coming back.

I would much appreciate any advice before i go and nuke my computer with the wrong programs through sheer anger and frustration.

if you still need help, i would do this:

VundoFix by Atri
Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4

* Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
* Click the Scan for Vundo button.
* Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
* You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
* Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
* When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
* Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.


Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

Download the trial version of Ewido anti-malware from here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

* Install Ewido anti-malware.
* The program will now go to the main screen.

You will need to update Ewido to the latest definition files.

* On the left-hand side of the main screen click the Update Button.
* Click on Start.

The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
After the updates are installed scan with ewido.

Learn more about the program, Does it come bundled with other "3rd party" programs? What do the 3rd party programs do? Will they deliver ads?
