Hello,

I upgraded to windows 10 back in August. When Spybot 2.5 was reloaded onto windows 10 back then, I was able to download the antispyware definitions with no problems. Since this past month the antispyware download status bar gets hung up and does not download any updates now. I have checked the proxy settings and it is not selected to the spybot proxy. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling spybot to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

To get the antispyware updates you've missed so far this month, you can download them manually. There are instructions here:
https://www.safer-networking.org/faq/can-i-manually-download-updates-in-spybot-2/
The link for the manual updates is not clickable for me on that page.If it is the same for you, then you can click this link to download the updates manually, then continue with the instructions:
https://www.safer-networking.org/faq/can-i-manually-download-updates-in-spybot-2/

And....
It's possible the update logfile might show an error if present,so could you follow these instructions to show the update logfile:
https://www.safer-networking.org/faq/how-do-i-view-the-update-log-in-spybot-2/
Then, please copy and paste the updates.logfile to here,so I can view it. :)
