I've loved and used Spybot for several years. However, I'm curious about something...
12508
What does "AS: active" mean or relate to? Thanks!
AS stands for antispyware, I believe. AS shows as Active when the Scanner Service is running.
I have a big ole rather complicated thread about it on page 2 here:
https://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?70844-AS-AV-off/page2
It's never been totally "Oh, yes, AS:Active is this.", it's more of a "well, I don't know, but I shut off this and this and it showed AS:off, so then I looked at this and that file, and the description said it was....." kind of a thing. I get into all that about halfway down the second page.
Complicatedly yours,
Zenobia. :confused::laugh:
