I'm not very computer literate so when I run Spybot I get a few things that they say the threat level isn't too high but the things that do appear I have no idea if they should be fixed or left alone because the explanation given is too technical to decipher what should be done.

Here is one example I found:

Description says "MS Direct input";
location says "most recent application hkus\s-1-5-21-79259954-78925994-2842380388-1001\software\microsoft\directinput\mostrecentapplication\name(is not)"
Under type heading it states that this is a "registry change".

I highlighted the above entry and clicked on show details though it took me to this forum there was nothing posted about the above find. The above found information is too vague for me to understand, and is it something I should fix or if I do will it goober up the computer. I have 6 other finds too that are equally vague with low threat levels indicated, 2 (3 including the above one) are registry changes, 1 is a registry value, 1 is a registry key, one is a browser cache, and one is a browser history, the last two are very low threats.

I just wish Spybot would make their information more intune with amateur computer users.

Anyway if anyone can tell me about the above mentioned threat found and what if anything I should do about it that would be great, thanks, in the meantime I'll leave it alone and not fix it.

Hello froze,

That entry appears to show the program updated a file so nothing to worry about. Thank you for your comments which I have passed on to the team.

Best regards. :)

That's good to know, thanks for the reply, I'll just leave it and not fix it then.

I don't know! LOL. Like I said I'm not too computer savy and it's the first time using windows 10 (I came off of Vista), and the first time I've used this computer, so I'm not sure how it's suppose to run since I don't have anything else similar to compare it with, but it seems ok. Sorry, wish I could be more definitive in my answer.
