There have been several times upon entering some websites, my computer would crash or even worse turned off abruptly. This will continue with massive trojans and spywares detected by my antivirus program after when i reboot.

Fortunately none of them cannot be removed or affect the system so far.

But I am concern how such severe viruses from these websites could infiltrate and hijack the computer after all the firewalls and antivirus programs. FYI i have followed all the guidelines in the sticky threads even before this happened.

Please anyone suggest how to prevent and enhance protection from these kind of websites.

Thank you:bigthumb:

Thank you for your kind reply.

As mentioned before i have followed most of the guidelines in the thread.

But i have a feeling that these are common "unresolved" questions that many programmers in the past unable to decipher.

Basically the only option is to turn away from those suspicious websites. But to sacrifice a vast portion of the internet.

I think we can close the thread now Mr. Tashi.

Thx very much! :)

"Basically the only option is to turn away from those suspicious websites."

If you are referring to Porn & crack sites, I totally agree....

Installing IESpyad & the MVP Hosts file will filter out a vast number of these "suspect sites" & it wont "sacrifice a vast portion of the internet." unless you surf the type of sites I mention above...

Thanks.
I surf through a lot of websites related to mostly programming and music recording. I'm in the learning process.

I may have little experience in computing but i am mature enough to know that internet is more than just porn and cracks.

But of course, everyone's entitled to their own opinion on how they want to judge a person.

Thank you for your time.

what is internet? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet)

Hi

I wasn't judging you, how could I, I don't even know you, and frankly if you DID want to surf porn and crack sites, that's entirely your perogative...

I was merely pointing out that taking precautions as noted in Tony Klein's article does NOT "sacrifice a vast portion of the internet"
