spybot stops working windows 7

I just installed spybot home edition, I'm running a scan and it gets to 34.4% but goes no further. The file search shows it's still looking thru files, but after 3+ hours it's still on 34.4%. Anyone else having this? Thanx.

Did the issue resolve? Is/was the scan freezing on one item in particular?
