Hello and welcome.

MACS are not as susceptible to infection as PC's so there are not so many mainstream security programs offered for them. ;)

Apple MacOS
While I like the Macintosh and use an old Mac regularly for personal stuff, Spybot-S&D does not yet support MacOS. There are also no fixed plans for a Macintosh version yet, as it would need many additional resources.
As the Macintosh isn't as far spread as the Windows PC platform, it is also not a target that spyware makers have found yet. Therefore, the only targets that could be called spyware would be keyloggers and the like; for finding those I recommend using a regularly updated anti-virus program for Macintosh.

Cheers.

I see a lot about no virus, no spyware, no . . . , and so there is no need for antivirus neither Spybot . . . are we Mac users being negligents or just there is no risk at all?
I understand the proportion of Macs Vs PCs, but what will happen if by chance someone develop a virus or a spyware? Could it be a big crash in a small comunity?
thanks!

The Spyware Warrior Guide to Anti-Spyware Programs mentions Macscan for Macs:
http://spywarewarrior.com/asw-features.htm#rec
You'd have to scroll down a little to see,it's under the heading Anti-Spyware for the Mac.Says try or buy at the Macscan site.

Also, don't forget to check the Apple site for their own updates.
