Hi, I'm just an average Josephine not conversant in the arcaniana of techspeak. I've been using Spybot for several years. My system (ASUS PC running Windows 10) has been freezing up when I'm running google Chrome over the past 2 days. So I updated my security signatures with Spybot and ran a scan. And I also looked at my past logs to see if anything looked unusual.

That leads to my question: The logs say "Nothing done" about the detections they found. Does this mean I shouldn't worry/everything's kosher, or does it mean potential problems aren't being fixed? Here's what I mean:

I'd appreciate insights in layperson's terms about whether I have a problem or not. I'm running Avira antiviral in addition to Spybot. Thanks very much, Merry Ann

It's most likely no problem. Please read my post here:
https://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?69339-Fix-Selected-Gives-Appearacne-of-Fixing-but-Nothing-Done

At the end of the spybot scan, as long as an item is checkmarked to be fixed, then after you press Fix Selected a darker green checkmark will appear that will indicate that the item was fixed. If something happens that fixing failed, I believe (from my recollection) that a red x appears.

I'm running a scan as an administrator as suggested in your post, and I'll look for the green checkmark verifying that problems have been fixed. Really helpful!
