I've been using SPYBOT for years, but I am losing my confidence in it.
It came on the other night, and said it found 53 things wrong. The little boxes all had green check marks in them; does that mean they were fixed?
If so, why then was the 'fix selected' box active? Not knowing what else to do, I clicked on it, and my computer locked up. I rebooted.
Should I run another scan?
Does the program automatically fix problems when they are found?
Where can I find these features explained?
Gosh, I love technology!

Tashi, If you will tell me where to find out what edition I have, I will try to look it up for you
thanks,
John
Hello handlebar,
When you open Spybot Start Center it will show edition in the top left hand corner by the logo, click on that for more details. :)
Best regards.
Hello handlebar,
I know this stuff can be confusing, it might be less so if you open a support ticket (https://www.safer-networking.org/support/ticket/technical/) so they can assist.
It would be helpful if you provide a link back to this topic so you don't need to repeat everything. :)
Have a nice weekend!
Best regards.
