Spybot updater

I re-installed the OS and installed programs, ver 1.4. Uninstalled it when I got a lot of the errors during a scan. Installed 2.4, and am running the update.
I haven't "upgraded" to Win 10, still using Win 7. The installer part spybotsd2 has been running for the better part of 4 hours with no progress since maybe 3 hours, running as admin.
So what to do?

Just as well you removed Spybot version 1.4, that version is very old and hasn't been supported in years. :lip:

Did you reboot after uninstalling version 1.4, before trying to install version 2.4?
