Similar Issue? SpyBot (free) stops updating at ~ 75% via Update Bar?

Haven't updated SpyBot in approx 1 week, tried multiple attempts today: system seems to become frozen at approx 75% (via loading bar): last line of text: '[00:33.826] [+] Installed 5 updates.'
Closing, reopening program does not affect this: any thoughts, fixes?
