Does Spybot freeze on a particular item it is scanning?
For instance:

Last update 8.3.2017
It freeze at the incoming (download folder)
Also: I us win 10 and Windows Defender from Microsoft

Nota bene: Spybot works also for Vista premium 64 bit, without any problem!

I have the most current version with automatic updates on a Pro account. Version: 2.5.24.0 Update: 2.5.42.94 When I run a full scan the scan doesn't stop once the scan has finished. It starts to run the scan again. If I don't stop it it will run forever. Once the initial scan is finished I can stop it and it will ask me if I want to fix the errors. Other than that everything else works. This is a recent problem, I assumed it started after a recent update.

I had this problem and posted the following on a previous thread. Then they closed the thread without responding. Apparently they don't respond well to criticism.

I purchased spybot yesterday, July 15, 2017. Spent 14 hours whitelisting (would have been nice to know I wouldn't be able to use the computer for 14 hours) and today I updated, brought immunizations up to date and started a full scan.
Yes, it did a scan, started another scan and is stuck at 4.9%. I see the information above that there is a fix. Apparently it has been necessary to apply a fix for a considerable amount of time. Why should I apply a fix? Why haven't you fixed it?
So is it a fact that you haven't so I will have to apply the fix? Lovely. Thanks, sort of. I remember when spybot actually ran all those years ago and for free (and I did donate).
