Hello
I have a problem with startup tools, infact when I open it, the new windows is frezzing and after some minute in the up bar is shows the message "doesn't answer"
I am using windows 10 and the last version of spybot search and destroy.

Let me know if there is a solution please

Which edition of Spybot do you have please: https://www.safer-networking.org/private/

Also, did you elevate Spybot's permissions?

To open Spybot as administrator right click on the Spybot desktop icon or the start menu icon and click “Run as Administrator”

Then you can right-click on the module’s icon you are about to run and select “Run as administrator”.

The version is 2.4
I did what you suggested, and alos if I run as adiministrator both is same :(

It means to give permission to run the software as Administrator, which is different from being the Administrator on the computer. :kboard:

Administrator accounts, by default, do not run programs as an administrator as this could allow malicious software to have administrator permissions on your PC.

SO yes I gave permission to run as administrator ;
The edition is 2.4 Free
Antivisrus is AVG

Same issue here, also "Free Edition" under Windows 10, 64 bit, "SDWelcome.exe" started as an admin.

By the way, here is what the event log says (no english version available)

I have also been having this problem, for several weeks.

The "Startup Tools" application starts, but gives me a blank page - just a title and 'File'/'Help'. FYI: The title says:
"Startup Tools (Spybot - Search & Destroy+ AV2.6, administrator privileges) (Not Responding)". I have to use the system 'Close Window' option to get the application to exit.

I am running Spybot - Search & Destroy+AV, Version 2.6.46.0

At one time, this application DID work.

My startup tools usually shows not responding at first, too, but mine usually does start working after a few minutes.
I looked in the knowledge base under Startup Tools, and that problem isn't listed.
You could open a ticket about it. :)
