Hi everyone my computer has been down to a dead crawl for a few months now

Welcome to the forum, not my favorite system to work on, so many things can cause this problem besides malware. ME has never been a system that handles resources well. Before we start, this is your computer? Then you know this program is installed:

Let's remove what I see and see what happens:

C:\WINDOWS\SOL.EXE <<< this was running, if you were playing the game, that is fine, if not, please let me know. Malware can run from this .exe

Move HJT from the Desktop for safety. I prefer C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe, if you need additional instructions use these: http://russelltexas.com/malware/createhjtfolder.htm
Do this before you proceed.

You are scanning for CoolWebSearch, please download and run the stand-alone version of CWShredder and allow it to remove anything it locates.

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Start > Run > type "cleanmgr" without the quotes, allow the program to run and delete what it finds.

Restart the computer and post a new HJT log. Let me know how the computer is running now.
