Hello,

I've been trying to remove some spyware from my computer for the past week or so, and it's gotten to the point where I'm coming to you for help. It's an aggrevating popup/hijacker that comes up with some information about "win antivirus pro 2006," and I've found that countless scans of spybot and adaware won't solve my problem... So, here are the logs, and if you can help, it would be wonderful.

Hi

I see a LOP run key in your log, but the problem is most probably a vundo trojan... vundo can now hide from hijackthis unless you rename the hijackthis.exe file first...

So rename your hijackthis.exe file to something else, fallen124.exe if you like, then run it again and post a new log.

I don't know if this name change will help any, but let's try it...


Are we a little sceptical ?

Look at the O2 & O20 entries in your 2 logs...

You didn't have any in your first log, untill you renamed hijackthis....

Among the entries which now show are these :-

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D6EBC445-BF1A-4BE4-877C-8CC86A58438B} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\opnkk.dll

O20 - Winlogon Notify: opnkk - C:\WINDOWS\system32\opnkk.dll

Which is a vundo trojan

There is other malware also uncovered, but we'll deal with vundo first...

Please download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4) to your desktop.
1. Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
2. When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
3. Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
4. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click "YES".
5. Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
6. When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click "OK".

7. Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

If vundofix cannot delete a file, it will try to delete it during a reboot, after the reboot vundofix will open again, you must run vundofix again, from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" ... and you must keep running vundofix untill it does delete the file... I've known a stubborn vundo file take 5 or 6 reboots before it is deleted...

Disconnect from the internet Close ALL browser windows (including this one) - run hijackthis and tick to fix (check the box next to) the list below.........when all are ticked (checked) click the Fix Checked button at the bottom. :-

Reboot then delete the following files (if found) :-

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Road 1 One Mp3 ... folder

C:\Program Files\Common Files\{A48D4A59-05D7-1033-0329-050410060001} ... folder (there may be an update.exe file in this folder, which you may have to delete first before you can delete the folder.

Also go to your C:\Windows\temp folder & delete all the files inside ... do not delete the folder itself.

Post a new hijackthis log...
