Unable to Update Spybot S&D:

I just downloaded Spybot S&D after a long hiatus and I find that I can't update the program. The update gets to "[02:49.569] [+] File "spybotsd2-install-iefreezefix.exe" needs to be downloaded." and goes no further. (Please see the attachment.) Has anyone else had such a problem? I would appreciate any and all suggestions on how to correct this problem because I can't scan for spyware until the update completes.

Yes, a few other people have had that problem. You could try closing the update window for now, and then downloading and running the small installer listed on this page:

That is the same download Spybot is stuck on(spybotsd2-install-iefreezefix.exe), but you'd just be installing it manually. Then after it's installed, you could try updating Spybot once again. :)
