The icon for spybot in the system tray says alls well and active, but windows says its not on and windows defender seems to be what my computer is running. When I turned off Windows defender, the action center went nuts and told me I wasnt protected. It gave me the option to either activate windows defender or spybot. when I chose spybot, an error popped up telling me that windows doesnt trust it because it cant be verified. Can somebody tell me whats going on? right now i just chose to reactivate windows defender, because i cant tell if my computer is protected or not. Thank you for your time.

Which version of Spybot do you have, is it a version with Antivirus? :)

Oh yes. Sorry yes its the home edition with antivirus. it says live protection on, internet protection full, software is being updated. AS and AV active and all that.

I believe the reason windows might be saying Spybot can't be verified is because of this, if you have the Spybot 2.4 Edition installed:

I'm not 100% certain on that though, so could you please open a support ticket and ask about it? Thanks. :)
