View Full Version : Pipas.A keeps reappearing

I have noticed that Spybot keeps detecting Pipas.A on this computer. Earlier today I attempted to collect all the info you need in order to help me, and I also ran Fixwareout (thinking that I have to run and send you the log). After that I stopped and followed the instruction more carefully. However, when running Spybot in safe mode, I didn't notice Pipas.A anymore. Did I fix it? Here's the on-line virus scan log. I'd appreciate any help, because obsiously I have no idea of what I'm doing.

Hi Angla, welcome to the forum. You did good, Fixwareout is the tool I would have posted for you. It was created by our own LonnyRJones who is one of the resident experts here. I see no malware in the HJT log, but will cover a few suggestions.

I would use HJT to remove the above redirects were I you, they are not making your browser run better, you can click them to see where they take you. You can still set any HomePage you wish.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
