Frustrating "-ware" on my computer

Also, when I go to click on a system application like my computer or the recycle bin or my documents, the screen blanks out like on Windows 98 if you were to close explorer by CTRL ALT DEL. The toolbar and icons dissappear for a second and them come back.

Also, somebody else who uses the computer accused me of deleting his music, and I didn't, I think something may of done that as well.

Reboot the pc into safe mode than do a check for problems with SpyBot, fix anything found.

Restart back to normal mode make and post a new hijackthis log

It appears as if you do not have a permant antivirus program running, why is that ?

This isn't my computer, it's my roomates, and I'm just trying to get it to run smoother. I don't think he has any form of anti-virus though.

Post a combofix log
1. Download this file - combofix.exe

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Now double-click on the fixme.reg file you saved and click on the Yes button when it asks if you would like to merge the information. Once you get a successful message delete fixme.reg.
Restart your PC.

Please download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4) to your desktop.

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
