Hi~

I've been using spybot for several years and have always been able to count on it. Until today~ I'm able to update, immunize and now evertime I go to run a search and destroy it comes back saying user abort scan was not completely succussfully. My next move would be to delete the program and reinstall it. I would prefer not to that, if I can help it. Any suggestions?

The only approach to fixing the problem (except as noted below) has been to uninstall Spybot, then run this very small fix (http://www.safer-networking.org/files/remove-spybotsd-settings.reg) from the following Web page to clean up registry entries before reinstalling Spybot:
