Each time I run Spybot on XP I get the message :-
Microsoft Windows Security Centre-disabled 1 entry

and it "clicks" to give :-

Hkey_Local_Machine\Systems\currentcontrolset\Services\WSCSVC\Start!=W=2

When I press the remove function key it says it has removed it, but it returns when I rerun Spybot , even after rebooting.

Presumably I need to enter something different in the Registry,(after backing it up) but what should I enter ?
Thanks and many expectations.

After the scan,if you click on Microsoft.WindowsSecurityCenter_disabled,then click the area to the right with the arrows on it,Spybot will give you this description:

Company:
Product: Microsoft.WindowsSecurityCenter_disabled
Threat: Security

Functionality
if the Windows Security Center is disabled this entry will be shown

Description
Malware can disable the Windows Security Center to make your System more vulnerable.

If you have other security software suit installed, this may also deactivate the Windows Security Center to avoid double warning messages.

Also,see here:
http://www.spybot.info/en/faq/46.html

Do you have any Security software suites installed that might have disabled Windows Security Center,or might you have disabled Security Center in Services,or anything like that?

Also,is that the path it gives?
Hkey_Local_Machine\Systems\currentcontrolset\Services\WSCSVC\Start!=W=2

Or is it:
Hkey_Local_Machine\System\currentcontrolset\Services\WSCSVC\Start!=W=2
