Help!!! Weird Startup Dialog Box

When I start up my PC it goes through all the usual routines 'till it gets to the WELCOME screen and then I get this really weird dialog box ...

As you can see, it doesn't give me ANY explanation and the font is bizarre.
I HAVE to click on "OK" or my desktop won't appear.

I've tried all sorts of Malware removal programs to no avail.

Please can ANYONE help me get rid of this pesky nuisance?

I cant make out what it says in the titlebar and all i can see in the field is a black square, what do they look like ?

what programs have you installed recently ?

Post a HijackThis 1.99.1 log
First Make a new folder, example C:\AntiSpyWare
and download/Save HijackThis, to that new folder.
This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong

Double click HijackThis.exe, Hit None of the above, just start the program.
Hit Scan When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log somewhere, and please show us its contents.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.

Lets try this
Launch Notepad (not wordpad), and copy and paste the contents of the code box below into a new text file.
Save it as file name: "fixme.reg" (not including the quotes). Save as file type: All files (*.*) and save it on your Desktop.

Now double-click on the fixme.reg file you saved and click on the Yes button when it asks if you would like to merge the information. Once you get a successful message delete fixme.reg.

Many thanks for your help but I had to re-install Windows :mad:

Eventually it wouldn't even load up my desktop after clicking "OK". Must have had some corrupted files or something??

I installed it over my old version of Windows so thankfully I haven't lost anything.

(now I just need to figure out how to get rid of Internet Explorer 7 lol)
