I recently removed what Spybot calls 'Advanced Searchbar' in my scan, but when I checked the regisrty location of the malware in the Recovery section it said:
AdvancedSearchBar
Class ID
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Vicman Software
A google of Vicman Software made me realise that they make FreeDownloadManager (http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/index.htm) which afaik is entirely safe and has no malware bundled.
Am I correct, and if so is there anything else I need to do to restore this removal other than selecting it from the list in recovery and clicking 'recover selected items'? I mean, has anything other than that particular registry entry been changed?
