Hello - A Keylogger has been downloaded to my computer giving access to my passwords without my permission. The Keylogger has been encrypted so I cannot identify the program .I know when it was downloaded and can identify the path :
C: /Documents & Settings\All Users\Application\Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\Machinekeys. I cannot get further than All Users.

I use Windows XP & Zone Alarm Pro Anti-virus . I have Windows Defender (Beta2) installed and have used it as advised.

Hello

What alerts to a keylogger ?

It doesnt appear you have SpyBot S&D ?

the application date folder is hidden, you can peak there by copy and pasteing the bolded line below into the start run box, although its a normal windows folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys

Get more opinions, post a report from one or even both of these free online scans.
Panda ActiveScan-Free online scanner,
http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm
Do a full scan > Click the my computer button
After the scan click see report then Save the report and post it back here please.
Kaspersky Lab - Free Online scan:
http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Click scan settings and place a check next to use [x]extended this database etc etc. Click ok.
Then choose: my computer: scan all your hard drives and mapped disks.
when finished click save as text and post that in your reply.
We dont need to see item's listed as "Object is locked skipped" so edit those out.
We do not need to see items reported that are in an antivirus quorantine folder.

Many thanks for all your replies . I regret that I did not know that it could be removed with a good anti-spyware program. Spyware doctor found it & removed it. My free spyware & Windows Defender Beta2 proved ineffective at finding it.Many thanks for all your trouble in replying.

Next time please do not ask for help at more than one help forum.

Think Prevention: Put in place a good hosts file
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
How To Download and Extract the HOSTS file:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts2.htm
Repeat that proccess about once or twice a month

To help avoid reinfection see "So how did I get infected in the first place?"

Since the problems are solved Im going to close the topic now, this keeps others with similar problems from posting there logs/question here, they should start a new topic.
