Hi,
Trying to clean a friends machine and have a couple of dodgy files that won't delete in safe mode or via dos (rmass.exe & ntdbg.exe). There may be other infections too that the usual tools haven't picked up so I've posted a log below. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

It now seems to have created another executable ubjmr.exe. Norton is flagging this rmass.exe & ntdbg.exe as trying to access an unknown IP everytime any other program tries to access the internet. I've posted those executable to virustotal as well. Thanks.

C:\WINDOWS\System32\rmass.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\RECOVER32.DLL
Send it to submitlonnyATsubratam.org

No need to send those samples, got them from a friend.

After running fixwareout and posting its report proceed as fallows.

Prevx can handle the rest:

start prevx and check for updates but dont scan with it yet, open task manager(press ctrl alt and del at the same time) and end explorer.exe then do a scan with prevx
dont worry about the red warning box's "malware blocked", let the program finish scanning,
it will take awhile 10 to 30 minutes most likely, when it is finished it should restart your pc automaticly, let it
once windows fully loads prevx should start on its own and recommend another scan, use the scan now button

Run Hijackthis scan place a check next to this item and click fix checked

Think Prevention: Put in place a good hosts file
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
How To Download and Extract the HOSTS file:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts2.htm
Repeat that proccess about once or twice a month

To help avoid reinfection see "So how did I get infected in the first place?"
