View Full Version : Have license for the Spybot Home Edition but need download for the Spybot Home Editio
I had to get a new PC as my old PC broke.
I only see a download for the Spybot Free Edition which I downloaded, however, I could not find a place to enter my license to upgrade it to the Spybot Home Edition.
I have my license for the Spybot Home Edition but how do I get a download for the Spybot Home Edition?

If you run the update and let it download all available updates first, the option to enter the license will appear. Might require a restart unless you close Start Center while updating. Simply click on the "Free Edition" in Start Center, and the opening license dialog will have the button to enter the license key.

I removed Spybot Free Edition and will not install it again until I know how to get the Spybot Home Edition working.
I previously updated the Spybot Free Edition before removing it but there was no License Entry dialog box.
What is the License Installer as I do not remember how I installed the Spybot Home Edition on my old PC as it was a long time ago?

Hi I just had to refresh windows 10 on my PC. Spybot is there but there is nowhere to put my old licence key in. How can I check if I am running the licensed edition, and if I'm not, how can I enter my key. Any help very much appreciated.
It states the Edition on the Upper Left of the Spybot S&D Start Center.
If it says Free Edition, you will need to request the License Key and Installer via https://www.safer-networking.org/lost-license/
