Hi
Just confirming latest version of Spybot S & D is 2.7, and wondering why there is no "check for updates" that I can find on the app ?
Yes, my version is showing as 2.7.65.0, that should be the latest version of Spybot. There should be a Last Update section in the overview part of the Start Center when you open it, and if you click update that will open Spybot's updater. If that is not there, then you can click Show Details in the lower right corner, and there is an Update icon there that will open the Updater as well. :)

Hi, been using Spybot since day 1 of its inception, but there still is no "check for updates" for the program. The updates you refer to are for the signatures (Antispyware/Antivirus). You can however tell if the main program is up to date through the three "traffic lights" top right on "more Details" screen (This software is up to date). I guess it is very rare that update the main program so no need to have a check for this ?

Oh, program updates. No, there's no check for program updates available that I'm aware of. I usually just glance at the announcements section of the forum every so often, for that:
