View Full Version : Just renewed license, cannot access program to enter license key

I just got a popup telling me my Home Edition license has expired. So I followed the link, bought another years license, and got a license key. But every time I try go open Spybot S&D to enter the license key, it just gives me 2 options.
"Go online to purchase a license key"
"Go back to free version"
I even went into the program files and launched the updater directly. Still got this popup.
That seems like a bit of a conundrum. I'm not sure what to do in that case. You could contact Spybot support. There's a contact form here:

Go to the Start Center Icon. Right click and choose run as administrator. That is what worked for me. This necro post is for anyone else on the Web searching for this answer
