Persistent Spybot Desktop notification Windows 10 Chrome

Newbie question.

Spybot desktop notification (covers 2/3 of screen) pops up at various times (random, startup, after waking up from standby). I can close it easy enough. However it is persistent and getting to be a nuisance. How to turn it off. I went to Chrome Security Notifications and did not see Spybot.

Does Spybot have a way to turn this off?

Don't mind Spybot relevant and new notifications or reminders, but this popup is static. Same thing over and over.

Thank you. That is it. I am reading through thread now... got to the first fix of renaming a file, but the thread goes on for many pages. S&D is great, but software designed to remove malware and viruses acting like a virus (a naissance) is not great. Thanks again.

They released a newer installer that should get the spybot lab to only show once,, if you'd like to uninstall and reinstall. Please see m/f's comment here:
