I am running Windows 10 Professional 64-bit 21H1. In my application EventLog I see every six minutes two entries:
EventID 2 : Spybot The system cannot find the file specified.
EventID 15: Security Center Updated Spybot - Search and Destroy status successfully to SECURITY_PRODUCT_STATE_ON.
The EventID 2 has no information as to what file cannot be found. The "Details" tab has:
+ System
- EventData
Spybot
WSCAntivirusUpdateStatus: WSC_SECURITY_PRODUCT_STATE_ON
It appears that the EventID 15 is not a "file not found" condition; it is "Spybot state changed to ON" condition. What do these EventLog entries signify? And why is the Spybot status being changed to ON every six minutes, as assume that it is always ON, and there are no EventLog records that it had been turned off? Thanks.
