I am facing a severe issue with spybot. It perpentually asks to insert a floppy. I know that floppy is some kind of anachronism, but it is too bad that is asks me more that 100 times to insert a floppy and simply does not work. It is impossible for me to abort this.
See the image attached.
I remember this happening with some people a long time ago, but unfortunately I can only find minimal information on the forum. Maybe I'm just misremembering or not inputting the right thing in a search.
Sooo...
I guess the way to proceed may be this.
There is a way to scan different drives listed in the FAQ. Please see here:
https://www.safer-networking.org/pt-br/faq/how-do-i-scan-different-drives-on-my-pc/
You'd want to follow the first one, and check to see that drive A is not selected when you scan. However, I don't believe that option is available with Spybot Free edition. It wasn't available when I looked at mine, so this option might be out. You can check yours, though.
It might be possible this is happening if you have your main drive configured as drive A, I think. Putting in a floppy disk to let Spybot scan it and move on is probably not an option, I'm presuming.
Might be best if you opened a support ticket if nothing above helps. The contact page is here:
