View Full Version : Scan Time Increasing

Greetings. The scan time on my system has increased significantly. I used to go about 4 hours. Now, after 16 hrs, it is only about 2/3rds complete. I'm not able to figure this one out, and while I have checked many threads, and also started a support ticket, I'm not able to get any ideas on this problem.
As it is, the software is basically not useable. I run Spybot Home Edition.
Any ideas appreciated, with thanks.

After having used this software for a number of years, the lack of support for tech tickets make it clear it is no longer something I can use. A total waste of time and money. If anyone can recommend a better software package they use, that would be great. Thanks.

Finally heard from a tech.
This time I installed making it the primary MW VR scanner instead of windows defender. I'm not sure whether or not I did that before.
It still took 10 hours, but I can live with that. So anyone with a similar issue, you could try that and see if it has any impact.
