This program seems to have started to load every time I reboot, and it really takes up resources. Is there a way to prevent this from auto-starting please as I cannot see it in my start up programs in Spybot S&D ?

Would appreciate assistance in stopping this.

Thank you.

This article is from quite a few years ago so it might no longer be true, but it says that the program supports rechecks of all accounts, it does so by setting a task at logon in task scheduler if you set that in settings. So you could go into settings and check that out if you like. The article is here:

Thanks @zenobia but these were already set to off. If I cannot identify the start up process this runs under I will just have to uninstall the program which is a shame as I would like to be able to run it on demand.

You're welcome. I don't see Identity Monitor listed, but there is a contact form to contact Team Spybot on this page. You could ask them about it:

I have posted a support ticket.

As an aside, I cannot even uninstall this as it does not appear in Programs & Features ??

I'm glad to hear that. :)
It would be under Spybot Identity Monitor vs. Identity Monitor in Programs & Features, though I see you probably know that due to your title.
There should be an uninstaller in the folder. If you wanted to uninstall then you'd navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Safer-Networking Ltd\Spybot Identity Monitor then click unins000.exe and follow the prompts. If that isn't available, then you'd need to ask Support about it.
