Klone, pop ups and unresponsive launch

A novice here so please let me know if I am doing anything that is wrong or rude, apologies in advance if I err. Hope somebody can help me. I would be very grateful.

I am running XP service pack 2. I think I had a virus, AVG keeps alerting me to a Klone infection but I do not aseem to be able to shift it. It is in my documetns and settings\user]\localsettings\temp folder - for two of my three user accounts).

I sporadically get pop ups which usually include the WINANTIVIRUSPRO page. If I swtch users on the PC, we have three different user accounts, then I am unable to open any other programs, the start button launches but all icons become unresponsive. When I go to log out often I get a message telling me that InCD failed to shut down and I have to END NOW to finish the shut down.

I have AVG running.

Hello and welcome to the forum, sorry for the wait, logs are many and volunteers are few. If you still need help and are not receiving it at another forum, please do this.

This sounds like the Vundo trojan and I don't know how it effects multiple users. There may also be other hidden malware, I can not say. If you still need help and are not receiving it elsewhere, I will see what I can do. For now we will deal with the user you notmally sign in on.

So I can rule them out, please assure me these two are valid programs:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\PhiBtn.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\Tray900.exe

Please return here: C:\Documents and Settings\ROHAN\Desktop\hijackthis\HijackThis.exe <<< right click the .exe and rename it to lawboy.exe. or something like that, then restart the computer and post a new HJT log. You should be able to see the hidden stuff in 02-BHO's and 020-Winlogon.
As soon as I see that log I will know how to proceed. If you have resolved your issues, please post quickly letting me know so I can have the topic closed.

Phil Thank you so much for your response. I managed to get the problem fixed using another forum. It was not a vundo virus but was resolved with virtumondbegone. Then one of the main UK ISPs (the one I use) went down and has been off for three days. Hence the dealy in responding. Thanks once again your reply was greatly appreciated.
