Browser hyjack and IE closes+HJT log

Hello all.
This forum just helped me last week with my father's PC. Now, something has hit the homefront- my wife's laptop. Many thanks to LonnyRJones and pskelley!!


AVG found a trojan (infected eadtuqid.dll) found in her temp file...since then, chaos.

I've scanned with Spybot and Ad Aware, which got rid of some entries but there's something lurking...


IE closes as soon as it opens or I get redirected to spywaredoctor. Firefox, my browser of choice opens up a new tab with random URL's. Under her profile, she couldn't unzip Hyjackthis. The screen would go blabk (and only show the wallpaper) 5 seconds later, the desktop icons return.

I was able to unzip and run it under my profile. I am posting the log here.

If anyone can help, it's this forum...

Welcome again to the forum, sorry for the wait, logs are many and volunteers are few. If you still need help and are not receiving it at another forum, please do this.

Have you resolved these issues or are you still waiting for help? If so, we need to do this:

Open Notepad and click on Format at the top, uncheck "Word Wrap". I need the logs posted single spaced with no formatting like in the first one.

I need more information, exactly what does AVG say this trojan is and exactly where does it say it is located? A google on the spelling you provided returned nothing. Post any error messages you are receiving "word for word".
Please also describe the symptoms, what is occuring, if popups, where are they directing you to.

Sooner or later we are probably going to need to see HJT logs while signed in to each user. For now I would like you to return here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Dad\Desktop\hyackthis\HijackThis.exe <<< right click the .exe and rename it to say spokes.exe or whatever you wish. If there is a hidden Vundo trojan, the next log will show it. Restart and post a new log. If you have resolved the issues, please post quickly to let us know so we can close the topic.
