I posted this a few weeks ago, but did not have a report from spybot. Wondering if anyone could take a look.

Running spybot, finding the following listed as problems:
Windows Security Center.sp2update and
Windows.Security.InternetExplorer

Are these truly issues or am I safe to set these to ignore. I'm a beginner and have not made any registry settings myself. Also, seem to be having system issues, like pausing or freezing of cursor. Wondered if these are related. I've defraged and clean up, nothing else out there but these two findings.

here's the full report.... THANKS!

Hello

Why not have SpyBot S&D fix them ?
"Windows.Security.InternetExplorer'
That setting is here > Open IE> tools> options> advanced> Under Security
uncheck "allow active content to run files in my computer"
Apply & OK changes.
Restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.

From your other post i see this
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ngmonitor.exe
Can you provide any information on it ?

Just trying to track down issues where my pc hangs/pauses briefly.
Describe your problems/symtoms in as much detail as possible

The detection:
Windows Security Center.SP2Update: Settings
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\DoNotAllowXPSP2!=dword:0
Indicates that the following registry entry is not equal ("!=") to dword:00000000 ("dword:0").
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\DoNotAllowXPSP2]Apparently you had the Windows Update installation of XP SP2 blocked at some point in time. The registry entry and value that is being detected by Spybot is no longer meaningful. It was originally used to block the download of XP SP2, but that blocking has expired and is no longer recognized by Windows update. Temporarily Disabling Delivery of Windows XP Service Pack 2 Through Windows Update and Automatic Updates has Expired
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/sp2aumng.mspx
Since the blocking only occurred when the registry entry was present, had a value dword:00000001 and was only meaningful between August 10, 2004 and April 12, 2005, the detection can be fixed, ignored or the registry entry itself can be deleted.
