NSIS Media Popups

I'm sorry if anyone posted about this already, but I have been searching on a ton of different forums, and I finally decided to post about my problem for myself. So, when I am using Firefox, I get these popups that say "Advertisment-- NSIS Media Extention", or something like that. I have tried a ton of spyware remover tools, and the only one I have gotten is with Spy Sweeper, but it still did not fully remove the files. The popups still come up after that, and I have also tried removing certain files manually, but the files will come back after I restart my computer, and the popups will be back. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Open the folder and Double click on the runme.bat
choose option 1 Post or attach that, then do option 2 while internet explorer is open and attach that text please.

Hey thanks for the help, but I think it was just an extension file that I was using in Firefox. Once I uninstalled the extension, the popups went away, and its been two days without popups, so far. If you want me to, I can still upload those files, but there is no NSIS folder in Mozilla Firefox/chrome, and the contents of the other NSIS folder in Common Files is missing half of the stuff that it is supposed to have inside of it. But once again, thanks for the help.

Now double-click on the fixme.reg file you saved and click on the Yes button when it asks if you would like to merge the information. Once you get a successful message delete fixme.reg.



Restart your PC.
