"Windows Desktop Search Tool Tray Admin has encountered a problem and needs to close" is the message that keeps popping up in the middle of the screen. It doesn't matter if you report the error to microsoft or not, it keeps popping up (though this does not happen in the user account "matthew" but it does in the others (I have windows xp)
I have done what is required in the sticky "BEFORE you POST and Who will advise you. "

Uninstall MSN Toolbar Suite, re-download and install the program while in an account with administrator privileges.

Thanks for advice but I need help on uninstalling MSN Toolbar Suite. In Control Panel the MSN Toolbar Suite isn't in the list of programmes in the Add or Remove Programs list.

There was something called Barra de Herramientas (the Spanish for toolbar) so I removed that but in the program files folder, MSN Toolbar Suite is still there. I did a bit of research and came across a post that said that one of the disadvantages of MSN Toolbar Suite is that it doesn't have an uninstaller. I also came across this post

so I'll try to go along that route. I'll let you know how I get on.

Well in the end, I deleted MSN Toolbar Suite via Windows Explorer in safe mode. I didn't think that was the proper way to do it but it seems to have worked in that pop-up doesn't come up anymore. I'm posting a new hijack this log. Any comments/advice?
