Actually I don't know if its strange or not -- I've just never seen one like before.

"Error during check!: Delfin Project [60] (Access violation at address 7C80CF52 in module 'kernel32.dll'. Write of address 806F4ED8) ()"

I'm using Spybot 1.4 on XP. Just updated it today (10/13/06).

Any ideas?

Hello,

Similar errors at various points during the scan have been reported on numerous occasions by people running Windows 95/98/ME systems.

The scan terminates when the error occurs.

You can translate (German to English) using:
http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/

Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse = Access injury with address (or more correctly Access violation at address)
Modul = Module
Lesen von Adresse = Reading from address

This (in German):
Error during check!: --- various --- [Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse 005FD5D2 in Modul 'SPYBOTSD.EXT'. Lesen von Adresse xxxxxFFF] ()
Becomes (in English):
Error during check!: --- various --- [Access violation at address 005FD5D2 in Module 'SPYBOTSD.EXT'. Reading from address xxxxxFFF] ()

The error seems to be transient in nature and other people seem to have been able to overcome the error by limiting the system resources used by other processes in the system.
In other words, run as little as possible while running the Spybot scan.

Best regards
Sandra

I just ran a scan on my computer

it came up with hunderds of error messages saying things like:

"Error during check!: DeskwareSearchAddon [14] (Access violation at address 005A4BA7 in module 'SpybotSD.exe'. Read of address 00000004) ()" (From log)

I saw many programs that shouldn't have been there like 'Fresh Girls' and 'Datingbox.nl'

I didn't have any programs running and I can't seem to locate any of the files so that I can delete them manually.

I am using Spybot Search & Destroy 1.4 and i updated it today

I REALLY need help because my computer is very slow

Thanks,

Steven

Ditto both not able to immunize and 'undo' still has them show up.

Does this mean those not immunized are unprotected?

As admin, it immunizes them all. Just not able to in the user accounts, which
I'll remove all unused accounts.

Any update on the patch?
