spyware may be present

Due to problems with packet loss, my provider and I decided to stop using ZAlarm for the time being. With ZA shutdown I no longer have any connection problems. I installed a security package from my provider Freedom Security by Zero Knowledge (Firewall, Anti-Virus, Spyware, Privacy Manager, and Pop-up Blocker). I used their spyware function (not S&D this time) and it found and deleted the following items:
CWS.GoogleMS.3
WildTangent
Trojan.Generic
MidAddle
Zango Search Assistant
Pigeon.E
Win32/Porndial.G.Trojan
Backdoor.Sepro.f

All my S&D scans prior to today would result in nothing found. Virus scans from Freedom and House call didnt result in anything either. So I am a little concerned if there is something on my computer or not. My HJT log is below.

Welcome to the forum, I am not familiar with the security product you are using, I guess you will know if it does the job. I do not see any "malware" but will make some suggestions.

1) See this information: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2 Your Java program is out of date and that can get you some nasty infections.

2) I suggest you do this, the HP redirects are not making your browser run better, you can still set any HomePage you wish if you remove that junk.

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer and post a new HJT log for a final look. Add any comments you think will help.

I updated Java, removed all the items you listed in your post, downloaded and ran ATF Cleaner.

I ran the Freedom spyware again and it picked up on 7 items all are MediaPass and all were in file
c"\WINDOWS\$NTUninstallKB924496$\Reg00002 through Reg00008

I disabled Freedom and ran S&D it found one item
Adelphia.DL "http:/>webmail.adelphia.net/webedge/do/mail/folder
This is the bookmark for my webmail (Adlephia is my provider). S&D lists it as a trojan - executive hidden in WMF.

Thanks for the feedback, I am still showing out of date Java items in your log? Did you uninstall all old programs in Add Remove programs.

I am not sure what that is yet:

I ran the Freedom spyware again and it picked up on 7 items all are MediaPass and all were in file
c"\WINDOWS\$NTUninstallKB924496$\Reg00002 through Reg00008
Looks like an uninstaller for a bug fix: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS06-056.mspx
Can you ask your ISP what their scanner is identifing there.

I see you have AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 installed, could I see the results of a complete system scan. I just don't see any problems in the HJT log except the old Java. Can you remind me again just exactly what your problems are.
