I realise this is not spybot but on a number of threads prevously, I have noticed others, when trying to run F-Secure BackLight, have had the message:

F-Secure BlackLight could not acquire necessary privileges
(SeDebugPrivilege)
- Your Computer settings may prevent acquiring these privileges.
- A malicious program might have disabled these privileges.

and have been advised to follow a link http://www10.brinkster.com/expl0iter/freeatlast/dumprights.htm to download NTrights.zip by freeatlast but think link does not appear to work. is there anywhere else of getting this download?
thanks for any help you can give me

hi

Please do this.
Download 'Hijack This!'. from here (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/hijackthis.php)
Unzip to a convenient permanent folder, double click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, open it with notepad. press Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.Someone here will be happy to analyze the results for you
