View Full Version : can't uninstall due to sdhelper.dll
followed the steps on faq page, could not uninstall with add/remove on control panel, used uninstall on the actual program, but cannot remove program files on c drive it stops and i get error msg cannot delete sdhelper.dll, i downloaded and executed the small fix and the program is no longer showing in control panel but it still will not delete via c drive, i am know only the basics about computers and registry, Can anyone help?:sad: :sad:
Have you turned off checkbox for installing BHO?
It`s in Spybot-S&D>Immunize.

You can't uninstall via add and remove.
In order to completely uninstall Spybot - Search & Destroy, please consider the following link:

It is important to use the 'very small fix'. This is how to use it:
On our website please right-click the 'very small fix'-link and choose 'Save as'.
The small fix will then be downloaded. Now you can execute it with a double click on its symbol.
If this does not work, you can right click the small fix download and choose 'Merge'.
Now all entries that belong to Spybot - Search & Destroy will be deleted from the registry.
