Hi, I have been recently affected with the virus drsmartload.exe
I think I have cleaned it by running spybot, however, the reg keys of cmd service keep on loading up and cannot be deleted.
They are the HKLM\system\CurrentControlSet\Services\cmdservice,
HKLM\system\Control001\Services\cmdservice,
and HKLM\system\CurrentControlSet\Services\CnsMinKP.

I'm scared of logging onto MSN messenger, because whenever i did, this one.exe command window popped up and trying to sign into my messenger.

And I don't know what to do, can someone please help me?
I can't format my computor now, I have my final exams next week....
Thank you!!!

if you haven't tried booting into safe mode and deleting the reg keys, try that, you might also try going to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and get a free online scan that might be able to fix it for you, also, you can go here http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 and get the free AVG antivirus prog and try that as well. Good luck, I hope one of those suggestions works for you. :) :bigthumb:

Hello chunny.

Please run the Spybot-S&D and on-line anti virus scans (separately) as shown here:

"BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps and scanning with SPYBOT-S&D (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

Then start your own thread in the malware forum:

Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22)

Once you have posted, a helper will take a look at the logs as soon as available and give any further instructions necessary.

Cheers.
