Me too.
SpyBot has dectected these problems:

ABetterInternet 1 entry
CoolWWWSearch.BadZone.Map 5 entries
CoolWWWSearch.Leftovers 1 entry
CoolWWWSearch.Mupdate 1 entry
CoolWWWSearch.Toolband 1 entry
CoolWWWSearch.WinRes 1 entry
NeedEdware 1 entry
Smitfraud-C 9 entries

until yesterday there was also

Sgrunt 1 entry (now disappeared!)

SpyBot tries to fix the problems. It gives a warning: "Some problems couldn't be fixed Some files may still be in memory Do I want SpyBot to run on startup?"
It still cannot fix these problems (Windows in normal mode).

When in Safe Mode (with or without networking) it does not show any problem.
This occurs in a few minutes time frame, so nothing has happened in between.
SpyBot is at current level with all updates applied (Oct. 20)

Only SpyBot detects these problems,
VirIt Explorer Lite 6.1.26 shows no problem,
BitDefender shows no problems (see attached log)
PC-Cillin shows no problems (see attached image)

MS Windows Defender (Beta 2) shows no problems, AD-Aware SE personal shows
5 negligeable files,

One additinal info: this computer has recently suffered of a Rootkit attack that I have managed with a series of tools (RootkitRevealer, The Avanger, Hijackthis); not it is defeated (it seems, at least).
Attached:
1) HJT Log
2) Bit Defender Online scanner log
Please ask for other info at will.
Thank you,

An update: while waiting for reply to my post, I have decided to go through the registry.
Well... from SpyBot message, I took note of the registry entry involved; I started Regedit and searched for this string.

Surprise: I found this entry among hundreds of entries all related to porn sites under the major entry "...Zone..." (sorry, I did not take note of the exact name, but "zone" was there).
I deleted this major entry (...zone..) and restarted the computer and then SpyBot.
No malware messages are now reported.
Does this mean that I have addressed and solved the problem?

Thank you in advance for your support, muffin

Probably I have deleted the wrong things, but I must say that SpyBot now does not find any infection...
I the meantime I have upgraded to Explorer 7.
...Never give time to the the end users.
They soon make up a mess!!!
Take care, muffin

Hi
You mentioned
I found this entry among hundreds of entries all related to porn sites under the major entry "...Zone..." (sorry, I did not take note of the exact name, but "zone" was there).

You found Restricted Zones and eliminated them?

We do have this sticky topic:

If you have waited four days for advice post here. (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?p=4836#post4836)
