When I search for updates, I am presented with a list of downloads, but when I try to select and download an update from the list, I get a !!!bad checksum! error; this happens on all download mirrors.

Since you're getting bad checksum from all mirrors,you could wait for a bit,and try checking for updates later,and see if you have better luck.

This updates the detection rules. Only needed if you do not want to use the update function integrated into Spybot-S&D.
I am in New Zealand.
The bad checksum message came when I used PlanetMirror as server; had no problems with See cure#2. Thanks guys!
