I got this win anti virus thing on my computer, and I have been trying to clean my computer with what I have, norton and ad aware. after all i read i understand that it reacts differently with everyone. so i have no clue what to do.
i ran hijackthis and 2 files came up, i delete them (one was satmat.exe, the other: R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file))
then things seemed ok, too good to be true, i thought i'd just restart my computer. norton detect another infected file. (it finds one at each boot:uqvqxjls.dll, win25R.tmp, kknomufp.dll, ehovirlo.dll, wlzip32(1).exe ).

now it looks like this

Welcome to the forum, if you want our help, please DO NOT remove stuff from the HJT log. We need to see the complete log.

Return to here: C:\Program Files\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe <<< right click the .exe and rename it to bobster.exe or whatever you wish. Restart the computer and post a new HJT log. That should give us a look at the junk the hackers have hidden from us.

Thanks

bobster

ok, sorry about that. After I post the thread I installed Spybot and ran. Now everything seems to be back to normal. Not only it found WinAntivirus but other crap too. Here's a new log I just did, I hope everything is gone!

OK thanks for the feedback, I wish Spybot would remove Vundo, here is the infection:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D4690E58-B3CF-4DE7-8C57-B241B7B8C914} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\vtsqo.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: vtsqo - C:\WINDOWS\System32\vtsqo.dll
I am surprised you don't know it's there, prolific popup maker that usually directs to rouge spyware programs, Winfixer in particular.
You have another trojan, if Vundo does not remove it, we will get it next: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winjjq32.dll

The Vundofix sometimes needs several runs to remove all of the files it finds. Look at the log and make sure everything it finds has been deleted, then post the log and a new HJT log.

Thanks to Atribune and any others who helped with this fix.

Please download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4) to your desktop
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log in a reply to this thread.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

If there is a file VundoFix doesn't find we need it submitted. Please submit
the files to upload malware http://www.uploadmalware.com

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback, the fix killed the other item also. Let's clean a little and I will get you on your way.

Your Java program is out of date, may be why you got the infections, see this information:
http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\ <<< out of date

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = http://infinity01.netfirms.com/deesc/plugin
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D4690E58-B3CF-4DE7-8C57-B241B7B8C914} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\vtsqo.dll (file missing)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Unless there is a problem, there is no need to post again unless you want to, let's also do this:

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001111912274039?Open&src=sec_doc_nam

Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:
