Working on another computer. m Checking to see if I have cleaned it. I could not see anything obvious that still needed cleaning, but thought I would ask. Only have one problem and that is with XCP.Sony.Rootkit. AOL/McAfee keeps popping up and telling me that it has been blocked. Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, CCleaner and McAfee do not remove the program. They have all been run prior to this hijackthis log. Let me know if you see anything.

More on sony here
http://www.sysinternals.com/blog/2005/11/sony-no-more-rootkit-for-now.html

Other than that the log looks fine

Thanks for the look at the log. The link to the sony info was kind of dead. No usable information.

I am kind of bothered by the Panda software that is still in the log. This was left over from cleaning the computer after the last infection the kids downloaded. I thought I uninstalled the program. Do you see any problem with putting check marks in HJT next to the listing and cleaning them off?

Did you see the commands to run
Open the Run dialog from the Start menu
Enter
cmd /k sc delete $sys$aries
Reboot

I would rather you install panda again, reboot then uninstall it.
