Q concerning cmdservice...

Hi all,

Just like the title says...I have the damn bug! I was reading a thread in the archives of this forum, and hesitated about following the directions, even though we apparently have the same O/S and service pack, due to the risk of messing something up.

Should I just do the same to try and fix this popup infested bug? I dont want to risk doing something I shouldn't, therefore figured I should probably ask, lol

Edit - I did indeed d/l the programs Ewido, LQfix and Hijackthis in case I needed them, and I do have admin rights.

Please follow the procedure in this link and don't follow instructions given to another member after their own log was analysed. ;)

"BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps and scanning with SPYBOT-S&D (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

Then start your own thread in the malware forum:

Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22)

Once you have posted, a helper will take a look at the logs as soon as available and give any further instructions necessary. :)
